We are excited to announce that there will be a series of Open Exhibitions on various themes throughout 2023 at City Arts Newbury.
Our First Open Exhibition in 2023 will be: Time for Tea– we are looking to exhibit local artists work celebrating all types of original artworks inspired by the time taken to have tea, tea in general, meditations on tea and fun had having tea.
This exhibition will be on show during our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party weekend (11&12 March 2023) – details to follow.

To Enter your work for selection please fill in the form below by Friday 3 March 2023
- We will let you know whether your work is selected as soon as possible and no later than Sunday 5 March 2023
- Handing in of selected artwork at City Arts Newbury will be on Wednesday 8 March at 6pm
- Collection of unsold artworks from City Arts Newbury after the exhibition will be on Sunday 12 March at 4:30pm
Other planned themes for 2023 are:
- Through the Camera’s Eye – an exhibition of photographs – 21 April to 7 May 2023
- The Longest Day – a solstice exhibition – 21 June to 2 July 2023
We will be needing volunteers to help us with the hanging and stewarding of the exhibitions – if you are interested in helping out – simply get in touch.
