Passionate about the community and building interactions between people of different ages through art.

Both have lived locally for nearly 20 years.

Emma is a marketing and communications expert and loves bringing people together.

Helen Long (Secretary)

Helen is a Trustee at City Arts and works as a ceramicist

Sharon Johnson (Treasurer)

A retired director of an accounting practice with an appreciation of the the arts. Sharon has over 40 years experience as a volunteer of a large national charity.

Alex Pawson (Art Hub Cafe Manager)

Alex has lived in Newbury for 30 years. She enjoys time with her family and her two dogs (Ralph & Tilly). She is passionate about the environment and enjoys making natural cosmetics. She is also keen baker, loves gardening, art in nature and learning many crafts and art practices.

Belle Doe (Cafe Supervisor)

Belle has lived in the Newbury area for the last eight years. Belle has a keen interest in wildlife and was always keen to be a vet before switching to nursing. Belle has cooked and baked since she was 11 and being a coeliac specialises in trying to make things not taste gluten free! She has 2 dogs Perdy & Dotty a feral cat called Moo and a flock of free range rescue hens.

Rosemary McDonald (Café Supervisor)

Rosemary has lived in Newbury for 30 years and has 2 grown up children and a dog, Maisie. She loves being outside in nature and enjoys gardening and walking. Reading, film and theatre visits are favourite indoor activities. Rosemary also sings in a choir and plays the flute. There’s time now to explore art a bit more, but which workshop to choose first?
