Collagraph PRinting TASTER with Isabel Carmona

This workshop is for adults (18+)
Have a go at this versatile printing process that uses collage as its starting point.
You will quickly create a plate and ink it on two colours and to print it using a small press. Explore a few ideas on this taster workshop and think how you could develop further on your own.
No experience needed and all materials will be provided for this session.
A fun taster session suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills.
Further workshops will follow on from this if you wish to explore the process further.
After you attend this course we invite you to book any Thursday Afternoon practice session (untutored) at City Arts Newbury – you’d need to bring your own materials for those. See details of these sessions here.

Other costs and Materials to bring
- Bring an apron or old shirt, something to carry your prints home in
- Any special paper to print on (needs to be dampened before printing) – tutor will bring white paper
Tutor will supply all other tools and materials that you need for this session

Workshop participant numbers will be small : maximum 10
Covid prevention
If you feel unwell please carry out a test and don’t attend if positive to avoid contagion as far as possible of our more vulnerable customers.
Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
