FIVE Week nature Art Course for adults with sabrina Talana-carruth
Fridays 5, 12, 19, 26 May and 16 June 2023, 4:30 to 7pm each day , £120
This course is for old teenagers (15+) and adults (18+)
This course has been created to explore art in a relaxing ,simple way, connecting , observing and recording nature by making and using natural materials for simple, mindful projects that you will start during the weekly class and expand at home in your own time.
During this course you will have the opportunity to notice nature and natural elements and sketch, draw, print, mark making applying various techniques and media and experiment with various materials as well as making your own mark making tools and inks to use on your sketch book.
The ethos of this course is to slow down, connect with nature and notice natural elements creating mindful and meaningful projects and perhaps starting Nature Journaling, that you can develop and expand in a unique and personal way and use as a reference for your own art projects and art work.
Every week we will have a theme to use as starting point and at the end of the course you will have a sketch book with various projects and samples as well as recipes and techniques to make your own natural botanical inks and natural found and made mark making tools.

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
