Five WEEK Course

Wednesdays 7, 14, 21, 28 June and 5 July 2023, 11am to 11:50am each session. £60 (for 5 sessions) or £14 single session

This course is for adults (18+).

Chair Yoga allows time and space to feel more relaxed and calm, exploring gentle, pain-free ways to mobilise the body’s major joints. 
It’s a style of yoga that is great for injury recovery and further benefits include better balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. 
Neeta’s friendly, informal sessions are rooted in fun.
A typical class starts with some mindfulness practice, followed by simple, easy-to-follow movements and ends with a soothing guided relaxation sequence.

About Neeta Madahar

Neeta has been teaching yoga since 2012 and began teaching Chair Yoga in 2019.  She discovered yoga and its philosophy at an early age from her family, and from 2001 began practising earnestly to resolve stress-related health issues and explore her heritage further.
Thanks to a regular commitment to her practice, she has experienced enormous benefits. She qualified as a 200-hour level instructor with Yogacampus, London in 2014 and completed Chair Yoga training with Mary Mackie and Richard Kravetz in 2018. 
Neeta continues learning from diverse teachers emphasising the importance of relaxation and functional movement.

Covid Prevention

Please do not attend if you feel unwell or have CoVid-like symptoms. Please take a lateral flow test if you are feeling unwell.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
