We are already half way through April! It has been busy over Easter. We had fun with the Teapot competition and congratulate our winners Katherine, Lizzy and Martin for their fabulous teapots that you can now use at City Arts Hub Cafe.

On the 21st April we open Through the Camera’s Eye – a photography exhibition. and after the first bank holiday we will have Open Studios 2023 with Emma, Ben, Petra, Susie and Jim showing their process and work for the last three weekends in May.
We are delighted to be able to continue our Free Art Friday workshops in 2023 for adults and wellbeing that started in March led by a range of local Artists and designed to be truly inclusive in bringing people together and supporting the creative well being of our community.
Creative Thursdays restarted in March for over 65s living alone. These sessions are also free so pass on the information to any friends that you know may benefit from meeting new people in a creative environment.
After Easter we continue our Artists Kids courses with Sarah Moorcroft on Mondays and Katherine Kingdon on Tuesdays. And there are also workshops in April and May you can join and take part.
The last weekend in April we’ll have our first Seed and Plants event of the year
We are looking for volunteers to help us. If you fancy helping us our our journey, get in touch to volunteer for cafe refreshments shifts, exhibitions setting up or stewarding, or helping out with refreshments or the community days.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
