Fabulous Flowers in Acrylics 2023

Thursday 11 July 2023 , 10am to 3:30pm.  Â£60
This workshop is for adults.

Be prepared to free up and let go! Capture the freshness, vivacity and colour of flowers in a variety of acrylic techniques including loose fluid methods and more painterly impressionistic approaches.

We will initially work through quick exercises looking at shape and form and explore gestural energetic mark-making to capture the impression of flowers. We will also use cut-out collage shapes and drawn marks as a foil to the looseness of painting – this is not a botanical painting class!

Lots of step-by-step demos & individual help…. a basic knowledge of acrylics is useful.
