Morning Painting worskhop with Sue Bridge
Saturday 6 April 2024 – 10am to 1pm – £40
This workshop is suitable for adults.
During this creative and expressive class exploring the themes of fish and water, we will create several small pieces on the theme of sardines. We will use watercolours and oil pastel/wax crayons on heavy body paper.
Our sardines and possibly mackerel will be fairly realistic and these will be complemented by lively experimental watercolour techniques.
All reference material is provided and the tutor will give step by step instructions and ideas and suggestions for different interpretations of the topic.
All basic materials provided though students may wish to bring their own (see below).

Materials to bring (optional)
- Set of good quality watercolours
- A variety of fine watercolour brushes sizes 1-4.
- Heavy body paper.

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
