Throughout 2024 there will be a series of Open Exhibitions on various themes at City Arts Newbury.
Our June Open Exhibition title will be: Splash– we are looking to exhibit local artists works celebrating the theme of Splash in any media.
ARTISTS EXHIBITING
The following artists are participating in this exhibition, each highlighting their interpretation of the theme of Splash: Claire Breitsprecher, Isabel Carmona, Patricia Anne Craig, Valerie Croal, Rachel Davies, Sarah Jane Gordon, Libby Hancock, Amie Hands, Saskia Hocking, Julie King, Claire Knott, Wendy Lloyd, Helen Lunn, Brian Marchant, Jackie Milsom, John Page, Sue Turner, and Sam Van Zyl.
We welcome the variety of approaches to the theme as it explores the fun of Splash in many forms like water, pattern, colour, abstraction, and fluidity.

- We will let you know whether your work is selected no later than Friday 31 May 2024
- Handing in of selected artwork at City Arts Newbury will be on Wednesday 5 June 2024 at 5 pm
- Collection of unsold artworks from City Arts Newbury after the exhibition will be on Sunday 16 June 2024 at 4pm
We will be needing volunteers to help us with the hanging and stewarding of the exhibitions – if you are interested in helping out – simply get in touch.
