Art meets – for artists looking for a discussion forum
Meet other artists to present and discuss your work in a mutually supportive environment. This may be an opportunity to explore more. We are offering a monthly meeting that might offer a number of ways to discuss our art.
Next session is on Sunday 27 October 2024 and we will discussing Water in Art (introduced by Angela Willis)
After that the following meeting is on Saturday 7 Dec 4 to 6pm – Christmas get together and reveal of the Metamorphosis collaborative work (see below).
The format is (loosely) a preliminary talk/ presentation but an artist/group of artists and then discussion – please bring some work if you would like some feedback.
In June 2024 we started an exchange project amongst some of the artists participating on the topic of Metamorphosis and we will present the results at the end of the year, organising an exhibition on 2025 with the work on display.
These sessions are led by Lorna Goldsmith and we discuss a range of topics with one artist doing a short presentation.
Many artists would like to discuss their work to get some feedback from the group, some would like to think about working collaboratively, art and the business of selling and marketing.
We are thinking (if practical) on working on an art project together – an exciting prospect.
