An afternoon workshop with kirstie Dedman
Saturday 25 January 2025, 12:30 to 4pm – £45
This is a class for those wishing to explore the technique of reduction linocuts.
An introduction course where we look at the basic principles of making multi coloured Linocut prints: What paper to use, the use of water based inks that will dry quickly; what reduction printing means and how to produce one.
Learn the principles of lining up the image each time, accurately. And create a print using at least two colours (and layers) of ink.
All materials provided- bring an apron and some ideas!

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
