The Art of METAL EMBOSSING Workshop with JACKY PURTILL

This workshop is suitable for adults.
Come and join Jacky for some metal embossing creative fun.
Metal embossing is a technique whereby you create indentations/marks and raised areas using a metal embossing tool, to create an image in metal.
Simply put, drawing in metal.
You will develop different techniques of metal embossing through exploring the use of metal embossing tools, sampling, creating different effects (underpinning metal embossing technique) and additional techniques for example using pen, ink, paint and glass liner to create wonderful combined artwork.
You will make and take a minimum of two pieces of finished artwork home with you.
No experience required. Just a love of all things arty and creative.
All abilities welcome.

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
