ceramic sculpture course with Rebecca Maynard

This workshop is suitable for Teens and Adults (18+).
Explore different sculpting and hand-building techniques in clay with Rebecca. The initial sessions will focus on the construction processes involved in sculpting a head from clay. The skills you will learn will then enable you to move on to explore and create your own work with Rebecca’s support.
Suitable for all abilities
Rebecca will take away finished work for firing and return to City Arts when fired (usually 2-3 weeks)
All materials provided
Bring and apron/ Dress for mess.

Firing costs are per item
These are based on size of work (payable directly to Rebecca as needed)
£7 up to 15cm width or height
Then an extra £5 for every 5cm increase in size.

If you feel unwell please carry out a test and don’t attend if positive to avoid contagion as far as possible of our more vulnerable customers.
Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
