Morning Painting worskhop with Sue Bridge
Saturday 19 April 2025 – 10am to 1:30pm – £50
This workshop is suitable for adults.
During this workshop we will create a textured surface to work on which will give underlying interest to our work.
Prior to creating our composition we will explore a range of different acrylic paint applications in order to create foreground, midground and background elements of our finished piece.
We will look at the work of photographer Heather Tonge and seek to recreate some impressionistic painterly effects.
There will also be an opportunity to work in greater detail in the foreground of the composition.
All materials provided but students may like to bring their own acrylic paints, palettes and brushes.

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
