One day Lampshade course with Jennifer Fraser

This workshop is suitable for Adults (18+).
This fun lampshade is easy to make and a great introduction into the art of hand-stitched, fabric lampshade making.
You will learn how to bind the lampshade frame, gather and stitch the fabric onto the frame, and apply trims and fringes. Full notes are provided!
This course is completely suitable for beginners and a great skill to learn. Hopefully you will go on to make many more lampshades.
Everything is provided to make your first lampshade. This includes, the lampshade frame, a choice of fabric, fringe and trims, plus all haberdashery.
Please bring a thimble if you have one.
Be aware, lampshade making is addictive!

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
