Open Exhibition – Pressing Matters

Dates: Thursday 14 to 31 August 2025
Opening times: 10:00am to 4pm Thursdays to Sundays (other weekdays by appointment).

Throughout 2025 there will be a series of Open Exhibitions on various themes at City Arts Newbury.

Our August Open Exhibition title will be: Pressing Matters– we are looking to exhibit local artists works exploring and celebrating the theme ‘Pressed Matters’ in any media.

Dates

  • We will let you know whether your work is selected no later than Friday 8 August 2025
  • Handing in of selected artwork at City Arts Newbury will be on Tuesday 12 August 2025 at 6 pm
  • Collection of unsold artworks from City Arts Newbury after the exhibition will be on Sunday 31 August 2025 at 4pm

Sometimes we need volunteers to help us with the hanging and stewarding the exhibitions – if you are interested in helping out – simply get in touch.
