This workshop is aimed at children’s 5 – 11 years old
All children must be accompanied by a parent or Guardian throughout the workshop.
Come and join our engaging, creative and colourful glass fusing workshop, where children can make their very own bugs! With hands-on guidance from our talented artists, children will explore the magical world of glass art in a fun and safe environment
- What will they make? Two adorable glass bugs! They’ll use glass powder paste, a wooden skewer, and their imagination to create vibrant, colourful bugs using four pieces of glass.
- Decorate and personalize: Kids will also choose multi-colored dots to create eyes for their bugs and have the option to use a mix of colours or go for a single shade.
- Bug House Included: The bugs will live in a special bug house, supplied by our artists. The bug houses will be ready to collect at a later date, once your bugs have been fired and attached to their new home!
- How long? The workshop lasts around 1 hour, and it’s perfect for little artists to explore the world of glass art

If you feel unwell please carry out a test and don’t attend if positive to avoid contagion as far as possible of our more vulnerable customers.
Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
