Pottery Taster with Pots of Hope Susie

Saturday 1 November 2025 – 2 to 4:30pm
£85 + £5 firing/piece charge payable to Susie on the day

This workshop is suitable for children, teens & adults, beginners, and more experienced students alike.

A fun one-off clay workshop in which you will have the experience of working on a potter’s wheel and gain an introduction to a range of key techniques for creating hand-built pieces. This includes the opportunity to make a small coiled, slab built and/or pinched piece based on your own idea, in conversation with Susie.

All materials included

Please Note: Susie’s potter’s wheels are not suitable for people with pacemakers.

Once through its final kiln firing your work will be made available to you for collection by arrangement with Susie.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
