Evening WHEEL Based Course (5 sessions) with Pots of Hope Susie

Wednesdays from 14 January to 11 February 2026
Sessions 5 to 6:30pm or 7 to 8:30pm (8 places in each session)
£185 (for 5 weeks course) + £5 firing/piece charge payable  to Susie

This workshop is for Teenagers and Adults

Experience the wonderful possibilities of creating with clay on the potter’s wheel. Explore fun, mindful throwing processes in a relaxed learning environment. This is a lovely learner-centred wheel-thrown pottery course led by Susie.
Suitable for beginners, improvers or anyone interested in engaging with clay to learn and improve wheel throwing.
Glaze your finished pieces in the final week to complete the 5-week cycle of the course.
(For students looking for continuity these courses run regularly throughout the year).

All materials included

Please Note: Susie’s potter’s wheels are not suitable for people with pacemakers.

Once through its final kiln firing your work will be made available to you for collection by arrangement with Susie.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
