Upholstered Crate Footstool – Sep 26

Upholstery workshop with Sue Walsh of Dragonfly Upholstery

Saturday 5 September – 1:30 to 4:30pm £65
This workshop is for adults (18+)

Transform a simple wooden crate  into a beautiful upholstered storage footstool. 

This hands-on workshop guides you through professional techniques: layering materials, tensioning, corner making and fabric placement. 

All materials and a choice of fabrics are included. 

Perfect for beginners, you’ll take home   a  unique, handcrafted  storage heirloom.

A note on fabric: If providing own upholstery fabric,  stripes  and checks are not recommended for beginners . 

Tools: you are welcome to bring your own stapler (10mm staples) cutting scissors, tape measure, flathead screwdriver, pliers.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
