Cushion Cover making workshop with Jo Cox from Pip&Joy

This workshop is for adults (18+)

Make a ruffled cushion cover from scratch with expert tuition from Jo Cox from Pip & Joy. 

Sew a cushion cover with a ruffled edge and overlapped back. The cushion cover features an overlapped back instead of a zip so it is the perfect project for a beginner or someone hoping to learn a new skill of easy gathering.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

Fabric needed: 3-4 fat quarters or 1 metre of cotton fabric. 
Total fabric used would depend on the size of ruffle on your cushion.

All other materials and equipment are provided. Jo can provide fabric and cushion inserts at an extra cost if required (payable on the day)

If you feel unwell please carry out a test and don’t attend if positive to avoid contagion as far as possible of our more vulnerable customers.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
