A FABRIC PRINTING workshop with karen Carter
Tuesday 4 June2024 – 10am to 1pm – £40
This workshop is suitable for adults.
Using resists, paint and simple stencilling techniques we will experiment with a range of ways to make our own unique designs on cloth.
We will create multiple layers combining all these various elements, which can then be embellished with dimensional paints, stitch etc to add texture and detail to make book covers, wall art etc
No previous experience needed in either textiles or printing….this is a playful experimental approach to working on cloth (please note that this is for ‘art textiles’ that won’t need washing rather than practical items).
