Mixed Media Workshop with JACKY PURTILL
Wednesday 16 October 2024 – 10am to 1pm – £40
This workshop is suitable for adults.
Come and explore how to create stunning night sky inspired canvas artwork with Jacky.
You will learn to:
- select and use different acrylic paints in interesting and creative ways.
- create a range paint techniques onto black paper using a variety of traditional painting tools and mark making tools.
- create different paint effects and explore how these can be transferred onto a canvas board support.
No experience required just come and have some mixed media fun.
Please bring an apron with you to this workshop.

Cancellation policy.
Please note that a ticketing fee of £2 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.
If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained. If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.
In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
