Ten Week Art Course with various Artists
10 Thursdays mornings, 10am to 12noon, Free to eligible participants (booking necessary).
If you are over 65 and live alone, you can join this course to boost your creativity and meet some local people.
It is free and it includes a free hot drink.
Each week you will sample an art technique with different tutors and enjoy a relaxing morning doing something new in a friendly atmosphere. You will have a break half way through for a hot drink. No previous experience is necessary, only the will to have a go and to meet others.
2026 Dates – set 2
- 23rd April to 21st May
- 4th June to 2nd July
We prefer it if you book the whole course but if you can only do a few dates you can still join on these sessions.
To book: Send us an e-mail to info@cityartsnewbury.org if interested with your address and e-mail address and confirming your age, that you live alone and a short line of why you are interested.
Once your place is confirmed, we then send your booking through assuming you can attend all dates. If you can’t attend all dates, please advise us on your email as we would give preference to those that can make most of the dates so they can meet and socialise together throughout the course.
