2D/3D 5 WEEK MiXED MEDIA COURSE with Jacky Purtill

This workshop is for Adults (18+)

2D/3D mixed media relief course:
Wk 1: introduction to mixed media and relief. Using a glue gun, acrylic paint and other embellishments (beads, stones, shells) to create a textural piece of artwork 
Wk 2: working with plaster. Metallic acrylic paint and other embellishments (wire, string, found objects) to create a 2D/3D relief based on rock formations.
Wk 3 and 4: steampunk mirror or frame. Creating a steampunk mirror or frame using powertex, flung materials and acrylic paint.
Wk 5: finishing, mounting and presenting all artwork.

Participant numbers

Workshop participant numbers will be small numbers – maximum 10

CoVid prevention

Please do not attend if you feel unwell or have CoVid-like symptoms. Please take a lateral flow test if you are feeling unwell.

Cancellation policy.

Please note that a ticketing fee of £5 is included in the price of this workshop and this is not refundable in any circumstance.

If you are unable to attend the workshop and you cancel your attendance more than two weeks prior to the workshop, the ticketing fee above will be retained.  If you cancel less than two weeks before the workshop no fees are refundable.

In the event of City Arts having to cancel the workshop due to participants’ numbers falling below the minimum requirement or government advice changes, we will refund the whole workshop amount.
